New service helps WordPress website owners improve accessibility and support compliance with WCAG standards through a collaborative audit and remediation solution.

The new offering builds on a collaboration that began in 2023, when the two companies first aligned around a shared goal of making the web more accessible. Since then, WP Buffs has recommended Equalize Digital’s free Accessibility Checker plugin to its customers and agency partners, and the companies have co-authored The Small Business Accessibility Playbook for WordPress, a free guide that provides practical steps for creating more inclusive websites.
The new service combines Equalize Digital’s accessibility expertise with WP Buffs’ WordPress maintenance capabilities, giving website owners access to both comprehensive accessibility audits and expert implementation of recommended improvements.
Unlike standalone accessibility audits, this combined approach ensures that issues identified during the audit are directly implemented by an experienced WordPress maintenance team, creating a streamlined path from assessment to remediation.
Equalize Digital conducts detailed accessibility audits using its established review methodology, and WP Buffs implements the resulting recommendations. This division of responsibilities creates a streamlined workflow from assessment through to remediation, helping website owners improve accessibility, enhance usability, and support compliance with WCAG standards.
Customers can choose between two service options:
Micro Accessibility Audit – An introductory audit that identifies key accessibility issues and provides a practical roadmap for improvement.
Full Accessibility Audit – A comprehensive review covering all unique page layouts, user journeys, and website functionality, accompanied by a detailed remediation plan and implementation support.
