Transcript - Business Directory Plugin for WordPress
Hi! I'm Jessica from CreativeMinds. Today, I would like to introduce you to the CreativeMinds free Business Directory plugin. This tool makes it easy to create organized directories of businesses or websites to embed into your WordPress site.
Each business icon links to a business page where you may provide a corporate mission statement or a business overview. You will also be able to display the year the company was founded, the categories that best describe the companies' services, and meta tags relevant to the business. This is also an ideal page to display a business logo, videos, photos, contact information, social media links and even a map of the office location.
This directory works with shortcodes so that you may embed it into any page. The shortcodes allow you to filter the information by a single category or tag based on your needs. From your dashboard settings, you may customize the look of your business directory. You may edit the directory layout style, change the visual elements on the page and synthesize the directory grid and tiles.
On the detailed business page, you may change several visual elements including the color settings and additional links.
The import / export option allows you to move all of the data from one site to another. From the dashboard, select Add Business to quickly enter all of the important information to be displayed on the business page. On the business page, you may also insert ads taken from Google, or any other external or internal source.
The business directory plugin has several add-ons which offer other businesses the ability to add themselves to your directory.
Please visit our store catalog for more information about these incredible add-ons. Install the CreativeMinds business directory plugin and start creating a list of local business or websites relevant to your organization.
It's time to plug into your creativity!
Transcript - Business Directory Community Add-On for WordPress
Hi! I'm Kayla from CreativeMinds. Today we're going to learn about the Business Directory Community Add-On plugin for WordPress.
The plugin works with the Business Directory plugin which allows you to built and embed a business directory on your WordPress site. The community add-on allows community members to add and manage their own businesses by allowing users to submit a business, allowing users to edit and update existing businesses and allowing users to claim a business already on the directory.
Let's take a look at how it works.
This is what your WordPress blog business directory looks like. As you can see in the menu bar, there's an option to Add a business. Community members can add the name, description and details of their business which will then be submitted to the administrator for approval or moderation.
In a moment, we'll take a look at how you can customize these fields and decide which are mandatory for your website.
The plugin also allows users to claim a business by submitting their name and email and allows existing users to retrieve a lost password.
To set up the plugin, first visit the Community Business section in the settings. You can decide whether or not to show captcha in the notification settings for the plugin.
Next, go to the Community Business Labels tab to decide which fields are mandatory and change any labels that you would like to.
Once you've set up the plugin in a way that you're happy with, all you need to do is add the shortcode to the page where you'd like the form to appear.
Once you hit publish, users will now be able to access the form and add their own business.
So that's how you can use the Business Directory Community Add-On to allow users to add businesses to your listing!

Let's take a look at how the add-on works.
In Settings, open the Payments tab. Here you are able to turn on payments and select settings to charge for adding a new business to the listing, claiming a listing already on the listing or to renew a business after a specified amount of time.
